Kirilo was just two years old and passed away on June 23rd. His story breaks our hearts. Kirilo has never experienced the love of a mother and father. He was born with a deformity in his vital organs, so his parents didn't want him.
He was evacuated to Burgenland with 62 other Ukrainian orphans at the end of March.
During the short time he lived in Austria, Kirilo was not only loved by the orphanage staff, but also by the nurses and doctors at the Oberwart Hospital, who did everything they could to save him.
