Ukraine emergency: Ensuring childhood survives the war

Let's provide safety for disabled children at the Kropyvnytskyi Rehabilitation Centre in Ukraine.

Air raid sirens sound daily in Ukraine – sometimes even several times a day.
In the rehabilitation center of Kropyvnytskyi, severely disabled children must be quickly moved to a safe shelter in case of an alarm.

But without a stairlift, every evacuation becomes a race against time.

The stairs are insurmountable obstacles for children in wheelchairs.
The employees wear them as best they can – at a high risk of falls, delays… and the worst.

No child should have to be left behind on the upper floor when the alarm sounds.

Our goal: the urgent installation of an electric stairlift for wheelchair-bound children

Total cost: € 15.800

This lift enables a fast, safe and quiet evacuation.
And when peace returns, it will help the children get safely to the therapy rooms on the first floor.
Installation will begin immediately upon receipt of the necessary funds.
