Orphans whose parents have died or lost their parental rights and who live in state institutions often suffer from attachment disorders and trauma, which impairs their physical and mental development and promotes later problems.
The team of therapists from kleine herzen works daily to treat the mental and behavioral disorders of these children, especially through cognitive behavioral therapy, which helps to manage anxiety.
The sensory space provides a safe environment that reduces stress and anxiety and prepares children for interactions. Such spaces promote coordination, balance and motor skills, making them useful for various therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy, occupational therapy and psychotherapy.

The music therapy uses music to promote emotional well-being, while the dance therapy allows children to express their emotions through movement, which reduces stress and strengthens cognitive functions.
The sensory room is used daily and once a week the children, divided into age groups, take part in music and dance therapy. The progress in the children's psychological state is already clearly visible.
