With the Christmas Angel 2026 project, the Austrian aid organization invites kleine herzen to invite individuals, families and businesses to give Ukrainian children affected by the war a special Christmas.
Many of these children have been displaced, have lost their homes, live in difficult social and economic conditions, or receive support from our long-standing partner organizations Save Ukraine and Caritas-Spes Ukraine.
What makes the Christmas Angels special: Each child chooses their own Christmas wish. A catalog with around 100 lovingly selected gifts is available – from LEGO and books to sports and craft supplies, as well as dolls, electronics, and sweets. The value of each gift is limited to a maximum of 40 EUR.
After registration, information about the child or children who will receive Christmas joy is provided, including first name, age, region and a personal wish.

For many of them, it was far more than a gift. It was a sign of hope, warmth, and the certainty that people were thinking of them, even in difficult times.
In 2026, the goal is to continue working together to ensure that children in difficult life situations can have a special Christmas.
Christmas Angels 2026 is a humanitarian initiative that brings joy, hope and a piece of carefree childhood to children affected by the war in Ukraine.
As part of the project, children aged 0 to 18 choose a Christmas present they particularly want. Sponsors from all over Europe help to make these wishes come true.
The project will be carried out jointly with experienced Ukrainian partner organizations. SaveUkraine and Caritas-Spes Ukraine implemented.
The beneficiaries are children who have had to flee their hometowns due to the war, have lost their homes, or belong to other particularly vulnerable groups.
Many of them participate in rehabilitation, education, or psychosocial support programs offered by SaveUkraine and Caritas-Spes Ukraine part.
The maximum value of a gift is 40 euros.

The plan for the Christmas Angel 2026 project is to initially support around 500 children.
